Last Monday my friend Mandy came up from Virginia for a couple days to visit, since we don't get to see each other except when we're at the beach. We didn't realize that she only lived about 3 hours away until now, so she could've visited alot more pretty easily. Now that we know, she plans to visit when she has more time.
Anyway, we went to see Dark Knight in IMAX that afternoon, along with Mike and Ryan, which rocked, though I wasn't really all that impressed with the actual IMAX part of it. It's just a giant screen with more speakers. It didn't make me feel like I was "in the movie" any more than usual. Movie was still just as amazing. Afterward, we all came back and played Rock Band the rest of the night.
Tuesday we went to see Stepbrothers with Ryan, Amber and Kyle, after Kyle managed to scrape the shit out of the side of the van by driving out of my entryway. He hasn't wanted to drive since XD. The movie was hilarious, finally a Ferrel movie I absolutely loved. More Rock Band and TV afterwards, along with Mandy getting me to start watching the season of Dexter I've owned for months. I'm horrible with watching seasons of shows on dvd, unless its Lost >.>. I think its partly because I can choose when I watch, unlike when its on TV, and I can miss it. I'm trying to get better, as I have a bunch to watch (*cough* hi kitty *cough*>.>).
Wednesday we just hung out for a few hours before she had to go home and pack for a cruise. Had an awesome time with her, and can't wait to see her again over Xmas break :D
Skip to Saturday when I went to see the new X-files movie with Ryan and Kyle. It was really good, which surprised me, as it did shitty at the box office and got horrible reviews. Afterwards we came back and had dinner with Ryans family and the Pinkstons, as Ryan left for JMU again the next day. Dirty jokes are dangerous, kids.
I've been reading Watchmen, since I've never read it, and its great so far, but I also read the second Hedge Knight GN. That was awesome, and it makes me want to reread the ASoIaF books again, just so I can read more GRRM >.<.
Anyway, thats all, I'm off to Dave and Busters for the night :D

Last weekend Denise and her friend Danielle drove down for the weekend to hang out and see Dark Knight with us. They got here late Friday night, hung out and watched TV and just screwed around for a little before going to bed.
Saturday we just hung out until the movie, which was fucking amazing. Heath Ledger was absolutely fantastic and we've lost one of the worlds most talented actors in my opinion. It'll be a crime if he doesn't get an Oscar(heh, get it? Crime, cuz hes a criminal? This is gold, people and it doesn't write itself). After the movie we went to try and get all of the old Batman movies (the ones with Keaton, Kilmer and Clooney, not West, though I would like to own those too) and Batman Begins since neither Kyle nor I had it. He got all 4 of the pre-Bale ones and I got Forever and Batman and Robin. I ordered Begins and Gotham Knight on Blu-Ray when we got home >.> That night we played Halo online with this kid that was stoned off his ass. It was hilarious.
Sunday we hung around playing Brawl and a little more Halo until they had to leave at around 3p, which kinda sucked but luckily they avoided potentially being in a major accident that shut down 90 miles of the turnpike. They didn't get home until 10 but at least they got there.
Tomorow Mandy comes to visit and I finally get to see TDK in IMAX!!!!

Well I'm back from NC. Have been since early Sunday. It was an awesome trip, probably one of the best ever down there.
We left by about 8am on the 12th, had a pretty uneventful trip, and got to the house by about 7p. We unpacked a bit, set up my room, then ordered Domino's and ate out on the porch. Not a bad start. Some of my friends came by to say hi a little after we got there too, so that was nice.
Next few days were pretty relaxed; just hung out around the house, sitting outside, enjoying the heat since the house was a fucking icebox. Seriously. My nips were chilled.

Thursday night my friend Ryan came down from JMU to spend a week with us, which rocked (hi fatty).
On Friday the 4th, everyone from the other house came over for dinner. Over 20 people under one roof. Quite a high number but luckily our house is big enough. My uncle took a group picture with everyone in it, and here she be's.

Then Saturday night Ryan, Tyler, my nurse Joy, her kids Makeisha and David and I went to a strip club in Myrtle. 5 lap dances (1 free ;))and $100 later, we got home at 4:00am and didn't get to sleep until 5am. Good times :D.
Sunday we went to Ryan's parent's new house down near us, which was a really nice place. Getting in the place though? Not quiet so nice. I had to go up 4 steep steps on a jury-rigged ATV ramp. That was so awesome! And then getting out? Awesomer. Picture a marine holding me from behind, and a 6'6 football player guiding me down a steepass ramp. Trying to slow me down with his head. Sounds like a gay orgy gone horribly wrong. Once in though, we had dinner, which was cool.

Thats Ryan, we're gay for each other, deal with it.

That's Tyler (the marine), Val, and I on Ryan's porch.
Monday most of us went to see Hancock, which sadly was pretty bad, though I don't think any amount of bad movies can destroy my man-love for Will Smith, Big Willie style. Also saw Hellboy II later in the week, and that was really good. Much better than the first one, which I need to watch again to see if I like it any better, since I hated it. Del Toro is a master character designer though. Every single one of his monsters is just breathtaking. I'm definately a fan.
The rest of the week was spent playing poker, hanging out, doing puzzles, and getting drunk. I actually got drunk twice. I enjoyed it thoroughly both times, and remember them both. How sick is that? I also remember being fascinated by a ceiling fan...

I did all of these myself, don't believe anyone elses lies.
We left Saturday morning at 7:30am, had a pretty smooth, fast ride most of the way, until we were almost through Washington, which was about three hours away from home. Before then, we were planning on getting back at around 5pm. That was before the cadilitic converter decided to take an everloving shit on us and stop...converting, or whatever the fuck it does. We managed to get off the highway and get to a Citgo with an autoshop. Luckily, the guys there could fix it, but it would take some time. Like five fucking hours. So we screwed around in "town" for a bit. Mostly we sat in a Five Guys joint because it had, yknow, seating and food. And ice. God bless ice. So cold, and not hot.
Anyway, after that fun mini trip, we got back on the road for a for a couple hours before our tire blew! Yay!! 45 minutes later the AAA guy came and changed it out, and then followed us to a gas station to top the air out of the spare. The one we blew was weird though, as it was shreded but didnt blow out, only a slow leak. It shouldv'e blown at the speed we were going, so we were really lucky.
We got home at 12:30am, with a 17 hour trip behind us. God damn did my bed feel good. Trips suck. Vacations rock, but trips suck.
As for now, Denise and Danielle are coming tonight, then tomorow we see The Dark Knight! Till next time.

Been a busy week over at the house that cripple built. We leave in the wee hours of the morning to go to Sunset Beach, North Carolina for two weeks. Should be a blast as always. Full write-up once I return.
Did manage to see two movies though. Kung Fu Panda and Get Smart. Both were very funny and well worth the price. Skadoosh.
Been watching these three guys play through every Mario game for charity. Its pretty cool. I'm too lazy to embed the link so here it is: http://kotaku.com/5020337/the-super-mar io-marathon-for-childs-play
Think that does it for me for tonight. I gotta get ready for bed so I can get up at around 4. Joy. Take it easy and I'll see you all when I get back.

So it's been a couple of weeks since my last entry, figured it was time for an update.
Been a busy-ish summer so far, which is great, as alot of times I sit around the house for three months with nothing to do for the most part. This year I'm making an effort to do more shit, even if most of it does have to be with my parents. Don't get me wrong; I love my parents, but I'm 20. I need to do things that don't involve them. They're involved in a huge amount of my life, and I need a part of it that doesn't have them with me 24/7. I just need to figure out how to do it. Maybe if I became a gigolo....
Anyway, I saw Caspian awhile ago and thought it was really good. Much better than the first one in every respect, especially the acting which I found painful before. Went out a few other times since then, finally saw Roberta's new house, which is cool. She has a damn lake in her development. It's huge! Very nice place.
Also went to a graduation party of Jesse, Julie's oldest son. That was pretty fun. Little weird having alot of people know me when I didn't really know them, but I'm just so goddamn popular that it's a cross I'll just have to bear.
Then Friday night I went to see The Hulk. Awesome movie. Marvel has done it again with the big green guy. They're really getting some good steam going with these movies, and the whole connected universe behind them is just fucking fantastic. 2009 is going to be far too long.

So Friday night I went into Phoenixville to the Steel Cities coffee house to see Susan Gourman preform. Doubt anyone reading this has heard of her, as the only reason I have is because shes on the committee for the trust thats set up for me. I needed to go because she was pimping the trust to try and get people to give some money, because all her friends are loaded, plus they auctioned off a bunch of stuff which also helped. Considering her music really isn't my first choice of listening material, I had a fairly good time. I was also reminded of the fact that my dad cannot hold his liquor.
Saturday I went to see Indiana Jones with Kyle and dad and it was awesome. Very much in the vain of the old ones. Harrison was awesome as usual, as were Shia and Karen. The man ain't dead yet :D.

Been a couple weeks since my last update. Meant to write one last week but never got to it.
Mothers Day was last Sunday and we went to dinner at Dueling Kurts (thats how its said, not sure on the spelling) with my grandma, aunt, cousin Christine and her son Anthony. It was a good time, though I wish Matt hadn't had to work so we could've hung out when it was still light out instead of after 11p. Anthony actually talked to me and didn't hide behind anyone. He's only six and I don't see him that much so I don't get offended by it, but its cool to be able to talk to him now, hopefully. After diner I chased him around a bit outside and the little bastard already figured out "Christian can't get me if I go up a step or steep slope." Goddamn kids >.<.
The rest of the week was pretty bland. Played some GTA VI, finished Ender's Game (excellent book), basically just hung out.
Tonight though, I went to another Soul game with my dad. Always a good time there. We beat Ohio 51-43 to go 10-2 in the series. Though I saw half the game because of the 100+ person line to get to the ticket booth. We bought ours online, but we still had to pick them up. So we waited for a good 30 mins outside before some guy came up to us and got us our tickets ahead of the second half of the line. My dad wanted to bitch and see if someone would take pity on me and get us in quicker, but I wouldn't let him, as I hate when he does that. If everyone else has to wait, so do I. If someone takes pity of their own accord, so be it, but I wasn't going to let him ask for it. The weather wasn't terrible and I was fine. Just wait it out.
Whew, that was longish. I'm off to bed. Till next time.

Saw Iron Man today. Jesus that was a good movie. RDJ is a perfect Tony Stark. The after-credits clip, WOW. So fucking cool. I need to see it again like, now.

I do believe its bloggin time.
Been busy with stuffs lately, plus I'm lazy.
Class has been going pretty well, with my major presentation getting cleared with an A. Now its pretty much just glide through the last two weeks. I really enjoy my prof and am looking forward to having him again in the fall. I'm looking forward to summer even more though ;).
A couple weeks ago I went to a Wings game, which is the Philly lacrosse team. That was pretty sweet. It was my first Lax game and I liked it. Football and hockey in one sport? Yes please.
Then last Saturday my parents and I went back to the Pinkston's for their annual tree blooming party. They have a huge tree sprouting out of their deck and every year the Saturday after it blooms they hold a party. That was great fun as always: watched some of the draft, the end of True Lies, and got to hold baby Jax. Little bastard's adorable, especially when he's sucking on an empty beer bottle.
And last but not least, Ryan came home on Wednesday, so he and Amber came over for a few hours and played GTA for a while. Then yesterday he came back and played Mario Kart until we went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshal, which was pretty funny.
I WILL be posting after I see Iron Man on Sunday.

It's been almost two weeks, and nothings really happend. The reason I don't post much is because I refuse to do idle posts. By that I mean I won't post until something post-worthy happens. Not gonna bore you few who read this.
Anyway, Saturday my old middle school art teacher had an art show, so I went to that. Saw the Pinkstons and some of my other middle school teachers, as well as some new faces. Scott's a great artist and this is the first time I'd ever actually seen his work.
Afterward we were invited back to Scott's for cocktails/dinner, and that was good fun. Fireworks, vodka, beer pong, wet shirts and pants. It was a good night.
Hopefully my next post will be a little more substantial, maybe some big news or something. We'll see.
